Company Overview

Our client, is looking to hire a Head of Data Center Services to manage the DC team in their organization. This is a well known ISP company and you will be working in one of the fast-growing industries company in Hong Kong. Candidate from sizable company background and experienced in managing a large team is preferred.



Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Head of Data Center Services to provide leadership and high level of service availability and operations
  • Ensure Data Centre facilities such as UPS, Cooling, Power, firefighting system being well maintained and in operations
  • Uplift the facilities diversity and committed services to customer in healthy conditions
  • Ensure 7x24 hotline and alarm monitoring on network and services in smooth
  • Manage the monitored networks/platforms under healthiness conditions and report to Tier II for alarms enhancement
  • Daily review fault cases and follow up until resolution
  • Craft out the operation workflows and procedures for Network Operations Centre to follow, escalate and report any incidents
  • Support to meet customer requirement to achieve company sales target
  • Develop multi-skill set among teams to ensure network/platform knowledge being shared
  • Perform project management for Data Centre related works
  • Prepare regular management reports and manage Data Centre OPEX and CAPEX within budget




Requirements
  • Minimum 20 years' relevant experiences, preferably with Data Centre operation and management experience
  • Experience in managing property, operation and engineering teams is preferred
  • Strong knowledge on Data Centre facilities, such as UPS, Cooling and Power supply
  • Good project management and vendor /contractor management skills on new project, facilities replacement and upgrading;
  • Capable of managing, uplifting and training Data Centre teammates on technical knowledge
  • Competent to offer alternative solutions to management team for contingency plan, flexible services and innovative ideas
  • Aggressive, result-oriented and self-motivated with strong business acumen
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Degree in Information Technology or related discipline

Dans ce rôle, vous intégrerez l'équipe de digitalisation chez notre client et aurez l'opportunité de contribuer activement à des projets stratégiques transversaux au sein de l'entreprise, en mettant particulièrement l'accent sur la transformation digitale. Vos responsabilités incluront la gestion de projets clés liés à la stratégie de transformation digitale de FMV, notamment dans les domaines de la data, de l'innovation numérique et des applications métiers.

Vous serez impliqué dans le développement de la stratégie data de l'entreprise, ainsi que dans la conception et la mise en œuvre de plans d'action associés. Vous serez également chargé de promouvoir l'innovation numérique au sein de l'entreprise en collaborant avec les différents départements pour créer de nouveaux produits et services.

Votre rôle consistera également à élaborer une vision de l'architecture applicative en collaboration étroite avec le service informatique et les départements concernés, afin de proposer des améliorations du système d'information, y compris les applications métiers et les processus de gouvernance.

Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous devrez détenir un Bachelor ou un Master en informatique, ingénierie ou économie, ou un diplôme équivalent, ainsi qu'une expérience pertinente de 5 à 10 ans dans la gestion de projets liés à la data, à l'innovation numérique et aux applications métiers. Une bonne connaissance du secteur de l'énergie, notamment de la production, de la commercialisation et du transport de l'électricité, serait un atout majeur, de même qu'une familiarité avec les enjeux énergétiques en Suisse et dans le Valais.

Nous recherchons des candidats dotés d'un esprit d'analyse et de synthèse, d'une forte capacité organisationnelle et de planification, ainsi que d'une prise d'initiative et de compétences en communication. Your new role

This position is responsible for shaping the organisation's ERP roadmap (planning, implementing, and managing), with a keen focus on optimising financial applications, BI stack, and data lake functionalities to harness actionable insights from data. In this collaborative capacity, you will work closely with diverse business units and C-suites across the group, driving operational efficiency and facilitating well-informed decision-making.
  • Lead the strategy, planning and execution of ERP system implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather functional & technical requirements, documentation, and scoping of ERP solutions.
  • Project Manage ERP implementation, communicate issues, risks, and changes.
  • Collaborate with ERP vendors for consulting, implementation, customisation, changes, product roadmaps and updates.
  • Co-ordinate product training, handholding users, and ensuring sustainable adoption.
  • Provide insights by developing and maintaining reporting tools and dashboards within the ERP system.
  • Plan, design and implement Business Analytics & Business Intelligence projects.
  • Lead design and architecture of the organisation's cloud data lake solution that meets organisation needs.
  • Overseeing data lake integration through diverse data sources to consolidate financial reporting.
  • Implement and manage data pipelines from different business units to ensure the timely and accurate flow of data to the data lake.
  • Emphasis on automation of processes and reporting mechanisms.
  • Prepare and maintain process/technical documentation for better resolutions & support.
  • Identify and demonstrate major innovation opportunities; deliver via proof-of-concepts and pilots to prove viability and improve business operations.


What you'll need to succeed
  • At least 3 full life-cycle implementation experience of any ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of finance implementation workflow and manufacturing processes including MES and BoM is essential.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to ERP functionality.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to engage and obtain buy-in from C-suites
  • Proven track record in vendor management
  • Some experience in data lake and BI technologies
  • Must be brand neutral
